Kaiwhakatere (ESOL Teacher Aide)


We are looking for a caring, engaging, and collaborative ESOL Teacher Aide to join our dedicated team. This permanent, part-time position involves working alongside kaiako (teachers) to support learners with diverse needs, with a specific focus on English Language Learners (ESOL). 

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic about supporting tamariki with their learning
  • Has experience with literacy and numeracy support in a primary school context
  • Shows patience, discretion, and a deep sense of empathy
  • Is flexible, well prepared, and able to use initiative
  • Is reliable and committed to working as part of a team

While the role is a permanent, part-time (20 hours per week) position, it is term-time only, and is available at Grade B or C (grade/step), with a negotiable start date.
