School Technician (Food Technology)

Due to our growing roll and the exciting expansion of a dedicated senior campus planned for 2026, we are currently seeking applications for a highly organised Technician to work in the Food Technology Department supporting curriculum delivery, day to day stock management and the overall working environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of equipment and materials for student practical lessons.
• Management and maintenance of equipment, stock, materials and storage systems.
• Supporting HOD to ensure health and safety requirements are met. 
• Maintenance of pantry, equipment room and shared spaces.

Ideally, your skills and experience will include:

• A food-related background or understanding.
• Online ordering of ingredients, stock control, and cooking knowledge are beneficial. 
• Preferably experience working in a school environment, although not essential.
• Strong organisational skills, show initiative and be able to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Computer literacy - Google Suite, internet use.

This is a permanent, part-time, term-time only (15 hours a week) position. Depending on qualifications, skills, and experience, we have this role banded at Admin Matrix, Grade 2 or 3 on the Support Staff Collective Agreement.
