Careers Advisor
Due to our growing roll, we are looking for an inspired and passionate person who has excellent knowledge of Careers Education, information and guidance. As part of our Careers team, you will help grow our school-wide career programmes (curriculum, events and programs) and help support and advise learners on their individual pathways. This is a fixed term position due to the development of the Year 11 Careers programme. Teaching and non-teaching staff can apply.
You will form effective professional relationships with students, staff, parents and the community to support the careers team to deliver planned, progressive learning experiences that help students develop career management competencies and transition successfully through school and into further education or work.

As a restorative practice school we believe strongly in building and enhancing positive professional relationships with our learners. All teachers are expected to be involved in our whānau system and are active in providing mentoring and academic counselling to students in a warm and demanding way.
This is a part time (0.5 FTE), fixed term position commencing 28th January 2027.
