Learning Area Leader - Learning Support
We are currently seeking applications for an inspirational Learning Area Leader (LAL) - Learning Support. As our LAL you will lead the co-ordination of learning support for students with diverse learning needs across our school and will provide strategic direction and operational management to ensure all students with additional learning needs are empowered to achieve their full potential.
You will be working alongside and leading our SENCO, LSC and ORS teachers. This also includes students who are neurodivergent, those with learning disabilities, behavioural needs or Ministry of Education support. The LAL works closely with teachers, whanau, specialist agencies and leadership to ensure a coherent approach to support.
This is a full-time, permanent position which comes with the provision of two permanent Management Units (UFT02) and two permanent Middle Management Allowances (MFS02).
